Los Blancos reclaim the Spanish Supercopa

Photos from cbc.ca
Hala Madrid!! Real Madrid won the 2nd leg of the El Classico this morning with 2-1 scoreline. Which means they won on away goals after a 4-4 aggregate score. Thanks to Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Leo Messi's free kick have forcing them to work hard until the end of the final whistle blow.

Higuain goal on the 11th minutes was easy one-to-one which Barca's Mascherano missed the clearance. Ronaldo done the heel flick past Pique which allowed him to blast his left leg for Real's 2nd goal on the 19th minutes. A moment of magic and a light of hope given by Messi at the stoppage time of the first half when he struck a free kick goal from 30 yards. In one comment from Goal.com said that, "I think Victor Valdes did great tonight, more than compensate for his blunder in the first leg. If not for Valdes, Real Madrid would probably be up 5-0 by half-time.". At the end, the 10-man visitors have to admit the cup is not their this time around.
I think Victor Valdes did great tonight, more than compensate for his blunder in the first leg. If not for Valdes, Real Madrid would probably be up 5-0 by half-time.

'Eid, holiday and wedding

Assalamualaikum readers,

It's been a week since my last post. Well actually the last post was set to auto post since I was away from Saturday the 18th onwards. It was a long week holiday because of the 'eid we're celebrating later that Sunday on the 19th. I was going back to Johor for 'eid celebration. Every year I'll be going back to Johor since it is my only kampung for now. My father is a KL resident so it is not consider kampung lah, correct or not? Hey, maybe next year I can celebrate 'eid at another kampung? Maybe my life-partner to be kampung, maybe. Who knows right? Well, it's TBC. This year around, only mak long's, mak ngah's family and mak uda's family was not around. No problem.

This year, I didn't buy any new clothes for this year's 'eid. Why? Because I think no need lah this year. Just use whatever I have right now. My baju melayu which I bought 2 years back was very loose for me to wear. Well, I've lost some kilos of course. Plus my father who have just came back from 'umrah at the holy land Mekah Al-Mukarramah last Ramadhan, he bought me a jubah dress. Alhamdulillah. I wore it during 'eid prayer. I was staying at my kampung until Tuesday.

The next day as early as 4 am, we depart to Parit Sulong to visit my mak long's family. You know what, we ate mak long's nasi lemak that morning. You should try it when you come to Parit Sulong. Next we move on to Jasin to visit my customer, Izwan. Well, congratulation he lost some kilos and importantly he lost his excess fats. Who said body builder didn't need Herbalife? Even though you have a nice body, six packs and bla, bla, bla, still you need to take care of your body fats. How can you control it? Control your food and take enough plain water plus regular exercise. InsyaAllah. So far Herbalife helps us to control our food very much. After that visit, we went back to KL.

My sister have started his work that evening, well, internship at Secret Recipe Subang Parade. Can't have a longer holiday. It's okay. After we sent her, I met another customer of mine, Afiq Ashril. The pilot with 100kg plus of weight. Yeah! Congratulations! Another kilo lost. That made up a total lost of 4.3kg in roughly 2 months. But his body reshaped amazingly. Until his friend thought he wore some other person uniform. Obviously his uniform need to be authored to smaller size. No problem Afiq. You have 7 months left before D-Day. 40kg is possible and achievable.

Actually, the next day we went back to Johor to deliver my customer's products and to visit my ibu's relatives. Most of them are at Batu Pahat. Ibu introduces to us to some of our far relatives, which are actually her cousins, aunties and uncles. Great, now I know how big is Hj Rais' family. Not including Hj Sukor's. Hj Rais and Hj Sukor is my great great grandfather. We went back to KL on Friday because Saturday we have many agenda. It's wedding day.

Not my wedding, my friends. Me? InsyaAllah next year, who knows right? First wedding was at Taman Melawati. It was my UMP clique, Hidayaht and Nurazimah. I know them both and they know me because we're all from the same batch. I attend the 'akad ceremony. Wonder how will I do if I am at his place. Will go through it one day, insyaAllah. Second wedding was my KMPk clique also my classmates at KMPk, Firdaus ans Azidah. It's been 6 years haven't meet them both. Classic. 3rd wedding was also my UMP clique and my junior, Naqib and Nadia. I think both of them are the student's rep at my university 2 batch after mine. Well, I wish all of them to live happily ever after until heaven, insyaAllah.

Yes, I think that's about it. Will write again next time. Don't forget to do puasa enam okay. Peace. Wassalam...

Rooney blow

Rooney faces two months out: Wayne Rooney is facing up to two months on the sidelines at Manchester United after undergoing surgery to repair a six-inch wound which cut as deep as his thigh bone. Rooney, whose right thigh was sliced open by the studs of Fulham forward Hugo Rodallega in a freak collision during Saturday’s Old Trafford fixture, was forced to go under general anaesthetic prior to surgery, which included the stitching of the wound, due to the severity of the injury. The player then spent the night under observation in hospital before being discharged on Sunday morning to recover at home. But the initial fears of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson that the 26 year-old would be out for a month as a result of the gash now appear hugely optimistic with medical staff shocked by the extent of the cut. Ferguson insisted, following the Fulham game, that Rodallega could not be blamed for the injury, but the damage caused by the player’s studs has caused surprise and concern. Rooney, who will miss England’s World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine next month and the start of United’s Champions League campaign, now faces an anxious wait over his likely recovery period.

Get well soon Rooney. Peace.

Suburbanzero Blog Ranking

When I opened back this blog last month, my blog has no rank at all. Oh, before that, I checked my blog rank at Alexa.com. It's always there since past years. It's just that I haven't actively on blogging for past 2 or 3 years back due to certain reason. Actually there are may posts which I can bring up here since my activity for the past 2 or 3 years seems to be a lot. Well, just see my Facebook page. Go to my pictures. Last year I went to 3 different countries. Thailand, Singapore and South Korea. Amazing isn't it? See my ideas coming but I don't want to tell you here. Maybe in other post, okay?

Here just want to share with you my blog ranking. Based on Alexa.com, on 3rd of August 2012, this is my blog rank...
 ...and today...

Some thoughts...

Sometimes when I'm away from this page, the ideas to write all sorts of things happening around keep coming and coming and coming until I have not enough spaces. But when I come here to type it out, somehow it's like "Eh, where are you eh Mr Idea?" Well, no problem. There's always something to be write about. Don't care-lah anything can do. Haha. The 'eid is just around he corner. What's your preparation to celebrate this 'eid? New clothes? New shoes? New sofas? No problem. Do the preparation that suits you and your surrounding. Don't need to be all brand new. The old one still can be brand new if we keep it gently and with care. No need to spend so much money on new things. Let's be moderate and simple. Yes we have to be all new for this 'eid, but it's all start from inside. If our inside is still the same even after Ramadhan, than we have to think what have we done during this whole 30 days of holy month. The school of Ramadhan is to make us be a better person. We have been fighting with our nafs and suddenly at the end, we reverse back to our old selves. If that the case, we have to ask forgiveness from Allah big time. Ask Him to guide us. Pray, pray and pray. Make good deeds with people around us. And remember, always put Allah in our heart so that He will always guide us towards the correct way. That's it. Some advice I guess especially to myself and others. Wallahu'alam.

Van Persie to Manchester United?

Well, well, well...recent football news between two rival clubs, Man United and Arsenal. A deal have been made and in fact have been agreed by both sides. This was from Man United official website, ManUtd.com:

"Manchester United is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with Arsenal Football Club for the transfer of Robin van Persie.
The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. A further announcement will be made in due course."

It was reported that Van Persie put a four-year deal at Old Trafford for a fee of £24 million after he didn't want to renew his contract at Arsenal. Let's wait for the good news to be announced soon. Seems the news delighted many fans and the team too. So, Man United will have both Batman (Bruce WAYNE Rooney) and ROBIN Van Persie as my friend, Fadzrul Hisyam mentioned on his Facebook wall post. #GGMU

Are you eating fresh?

What type of foods do you regularly eat? Are they fresh, natural foods? Or do you often eat processed food with ingredients you can barely pronounce? Our bodies were designed to eat fresh food, not processed food. As it turns out, fresh food actually tastes better than processed food though many people no longer remember what eating fresh tastes like. Eating fresh is one of the most fundamental aspects of staying healthy, having energy, and feeling good. Eating fresh, healthy food is only one part of the equation. Individuals need to re-learn how to enjoy preparing, cooking, and consuming delicious food.

How much fresh food should you eat? People need at least five to nine servings of fresh fruit and vegetables every single day to stay healthy and prevent cancer and other disease. This will provide a huge boost in vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes, and other nutrients necessary to thrive. Raw nuts and whole grains like brown rice are also nutrient-rich fresh foods.

No matter what you are eating, it is a substance that was alive at one time. Imagine, for instance, walking to your backyard and tugging a bunch of sweet, orange carrots from the ground. You take them inside, rinse them off, slice them and add them to your salad. In this scenario, you are eating food that was alive just half an hour before eating. As you eat these carrots, they are passing their life-giving vitality directly into your body. The less your food is refined, the more nutrients it shares with you.  Now, consider the frozen carrots in your freezer right now. These carrots were alive a few months ago. After they were picked they were hauled to a processing plant where they were rinsed with chlorine and other chemicals to eliminate contamination. They were then boiled, frozen, and sat on a truck and in a freezer for months at a time. These frozen carrots simply do not offer the same vitality that fresh, living food delivers.

Next time you eat, ask yourself how you feel. Do you feel bloated and tired? Do you suffer from constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, or low energy? Simply adding more fresh fruit and vegetables to your meals can quickly reverse even the most irritating health woes.

Ifthar with Herbalifers at Pan Pac KL

Yesterday just after the event held at Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur, we had a buka puasa event at the same place with all the Herbalifers. The food was just awesome, many varieties. Just awesome, you have to go and see it for yourself. As a normal human being, I can't eat it all especially rice and all types of noodles. If once I eat rice, then I will not be able to eat other food. What I ate was all the side dish. Of course my favourite grilled lamb was there. And the shake we must not miss, it's what keeping us together. Yes, we love eating so much and yet Herbalife teach us how to eat. Amazing isn't it? Here are some pics from yesterday's event. Enjoy!

Daily Gauges to Lose Weight with Herbalife

Assalamualaikum readers!

Have you had you shake today? In this post, I just wanted to share some tips that will help us to success in losing weight with Herbalife. However this is not compulsory to follow and please consult your coach too. Remember our body system is different so results are varies between one person and another. Thanks for Firdaus Bob for his meaningful sharing yesterday during STS. Here are the 5 tips or gauges:
  1. No snacking
  2. No solid food 4 hours before sleep
  3. Drink plain water : normal body - minimum 3 liters, body weight > 100kgs - body weight x 0.07
  4. Follow 321 program : 3 x teamix, 2 x shakes, 1 x regular meal
  5. Regular exercise 30 - 40 minutes daily
If we follow this seriously, 10kg per month is achievable. Not guaranteed 10kg per month but you'll be losing weight and be more healthier, insyaAllah. Another tips is that please take note of what we eat 3 days back. What we eat 3 days back will determine how our body today especially on body fats and weight. Don't expect what we eat today will immediately take effect today. Be realistic and be thankful to Allah. Take the product seriously and don't quit. If we can be patient to increase our body weight for many years, can't we be patient to lose weight for several months? May this short sharing can benefit us, insyaAllah. :)

By the way,  this is Firdaus Bob who managed to lose 62kg in only 11 months. Amazing isn't it. :)

Why Vitamin D?

The need for Vitamin D is particularly important for young children and the elderly. As we age, the ability of the skin to manufacture Vitamin D and the kidneys to synthesize it decrease. In addition, many people spend less time outside as they age. This makes it especially important for older people to increase their Vitamin D intake through supplementation.

Some facts about Vitamin D:
  • Vitamin D offers protective effects against several types of cancer.
  • Vitamin D promotes bone mineralization and formation.
  • Vitamin D reduces the risk of cardiovascular dysfunction and heart attacks.
  • Vitamin D supports healthy immune system activity and reduces infections.

Benefits of Vitamin D
  • Osteoporosis: Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and it is becoming obvious that a deficiency of Vitamin D is a major contributing factor to the development of a brittle, fracture-proe skeletal system.
  • Cancer: Many studies have documented Vitamin D’s protective effects against colon cancer, oral and esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, leukemia, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer.
  • Heart Health: Vitamin D deficiency is known to be associated with an increase in high blood pressure and other cardiovascular risks. In one study it was found that individuals with low levels of Vitamin D had a more than 60% higher risk of heart disease or heart attack that those with normal levels. In another study, teens with lowest levels of Vitamin D had a 400% increase in their risk of developing metabolic syndrome, a major factor in developing cardiovascular disease.
In addition, Vitamin D may help prevent obesity, arthritis, and infections, and may help to maintain cognitive health in elderly individuals.

Last weekend...what happened?

Assalamualaikum readers! How are you going thru the Ramadhan? InsyaAllah another 10 days of Ramadhan, than we'll be having our 'Eid. It's sad that Ramadhan will be leaving us again this year because this is the best month for us to do a lot of good deeds with rewards multiplied. Let's pray to Allah so that we'll be seeing the next Ramadhan, insyaAllah.

Last week, on Friday, me and my family went to a buka puasa event organized by the Herbalife Malaysia at Dewan Merak Kayangan (Felda), Kuala Lumpur. What was the best meal there? Of course the grilled lamb. Rice is not even touched by me that night. Hehe. If I took rice, than I can't eat others. Logic? We was there until almost 10pm because they're having the basic training as well about the product and sharing by three of the President's Team member, Fadzil Muda, Hj Allen Peter and couple Kapt Saiful and Pn Rahimah. Their sharing was amazing and inspiring, you should listen to them once. Our Herbalife Malaysia General Manager, K. R. Sridhar, was also at the event.

After the event, we went to send Nana back to Ampang first before we shoot back to Ramun. It's balik kampong time. We used the Kajang Silk and LEKAS highway because mom said using there would make us reach our destination faster. No problem. We went thru that way and exit Senawang. From Senawang onwards we took the PLUS highway. Best thing was that we only arrive there the next morning. Because we stopped at one place and take a short nap there before continuing our journey.

We were having our sahur at Batu Pahat. Forget to mention that we only use PLUS until Pagoh. As usual, we were having our aloe, tea and shake for sahur. We stop by a restaurant and bought 2 packets of chilled water to make our shake. Simple, easy, delicious and nutritious and we were ready to go thru the next day. Simply magical. Alhamdulillah. Actually we arrived at Ramun around 7am, almost 8am. Once arrived, we take a rest for a while because afterwards we were heading to Pasir Gudang for 2 appointments.

We left Ramun at about 12pm or so to Pasir Gudang. First we met my UMP friend, Izwan. He's an engineer and a bodybuilder because he always goes to gym to do all those gym things. Last time he was quite big in size but not fat. But he's already lose much because of his discipline to go workout and take care of his meals. Unfortunately, his fats are stubborn enough to get out. He's changed a lot since he's practicing his gym. Then he found Herbalife. He's been taking it for a week now. When I met him last week, he was only 3 days on program and he feel good. Alhamdulillah.

He consuming Herbalife because of the stubborn fats, he's at 7 on his visceral fat rating. It considered a lot for a guy who goes exercise regularly especially. Should've be only between 1 to 4. All of us also should be in that range. After sharing with him for about half an hour, we went a complex named Kompleks Bandar Pasir Gudang to meet another Herbalife customer, Jijah. She had been on program for 2 months now. Amazingly she lost almost 7kg since our last visit 2 months back. Alhamdulillah. Actually Jijah is a referral from my UMP senior, Khairul Afizan.

Later that evening, we were still there to go one round at the bazaar Ramadhan. Located behind the bus station, near to the complex. It's 2nd time for me this Ramadhan I went to bazaar which I tried to go less. Usually me and my family would go to the masjid to break the fast and we will bring along the shake with us. There's variety of food choices I would say. We bought some so we can eat together with Mak Usu and family later for berbuka. And then we went back to Ramun. The end.

Thanks for reading! Appreciate it. :)
